Based in France since 2002, Japanese artist Yoshie Araki counts to her credit numerous exhibitions in France and abroad (Italy, Greece, Japan, Croatia…). Even if she sometimes also paints birds, her favorite theme remains fish. Painted in oil, with slender shapes and a thousand colors, Yoshie’s fish are presented as an endlessly renewed meditation on the life that slips through our fingers. Mysterious and elusive, making the slightest rays of light sparkle, they vibrate at the surface of the water, while inviting us to follow them in the depths of the abyss. In these restless waters, which reflect the changing nuances of the sky, life abounds, generous. And we just love to contemplate it.
